The Concert of pure emotions...

Tonight I went out on the Champs-Elysees to see the latest Radu Mihaileanu's movie: The Concert. I laughed, I cried, I wondered, I was angry and full of empathy, all at the same time. It's a twist of pure emotions I've experienced all along the movie. And although the plot is relatively simple and the story is predictable, the dialogues are savory and the characters so authentic that I miss my country, I feel it run into my veins and strongly beating in my heart. It's a movie of characters, of types and archetypes, of the eternal human nature that unleashes itself when it has the chance and proves once more that each and every individual can be a great human being in the right context. And what really made me cry is that this magic movie raised in me a feeling I have long forgotten, a feeling of childhood and of those times when I was sure that everything I saw on TV, I could do too, even better. I was a gimnast, a rock star, a super hero, all during the same day. Today, I was a musician, but most of all, I was a director, a great one! Congrats to Radu Mihaileanu!
